So, as with the previous version of Astropad, I can go in here and with my pencil, just interact. And now I've got, it looks like I've got, Photoshop running on my iPad, but of course really it's just mirroring, what's over there. I'm going to leave like this so that's just a crop.

I can actually set Astropad to squish the entire Mac screen to fit on here, so that I can see the whole thing all at once. So, here on the Mac you can see a crop of my iPad, so this is showing what part of the screen I'm looking at. So, this is not any different then what you might have seen in the earlier Astropad that we showed, so far, but Astropad Studio has some cool extra stuff in it. It's just like the Wacom Cintiq tablet that you might buy, but it's running here on my iPad. In other words, my iPad is now a pressure sensitive, graphics tablet with an image of what I'm working on, on it. Yes, this is screen sharing, between the two, but it's doing more than screen sharing, it's a two way screen share, so, I can control my Mac, from down here. I say, okay, and as I move my cursor around, you might notice it's moving around down here too. So, as I launch, these two things talk to each other, and here right on the Mac it says you're all set. Before I do that, I should mention, that both of these devices are on the same Wifi network. You will want to check the specs of your particular hardware with their webpage, to see if what you've got is compatible. This is just a MacBook Pro, this is an iPad Pro. I have installed Astropad Studio on my iPad also. So, I've got Astropad Studio running on here. Yeah, I know, I don't like that either, but still, this is worth paying for. Astropad Studio comes as a subscription model, it's $80 a year. So, what I've got here, is on my Mac I'm running something called Astropad Studio. So, Windows users, I'm afraid this particular episode, of The Practicing Photographer, is not for you, but it gives you more time for cat videos, and I'm jealous of that, actually. The reason I'm showing this is, one, I love what Atropad allows me to do, and Astropad Studio is quite a bit different than the original Astropad.
